Introduction : Fibroids in pregnancy is a known problem, with the usual management being conservative.This is a rare case report of myomectomy being performed in second trimester of pregnancy with continuation of pregnancy till term. A 30 year old primi patient presented with severe pain abdomen for 5-6 days with amennorohea of 4 months.On examination and investigations, she was found to have a live foetus of 17 weeks with placenta located on upper segment grade I with a large fibroid of 127 * 95 mm on posterior wall of uterus and another small lesion of 15 * 20 mm. She was taken for myomectomy after high risk consent.
