Objective: -To identify accurately the compromised fetus and to study prognostic efficiency of colour Doppler in pregnancy induced hypertensive patients. Methods: Hundred singleton pregnancies beyond 20 weeks of gestation complicated by pregnancy induced hypertension were prospectively examined with Doppler ultrasonography of the uterine artery, umbilical artery and middle cerebral artery. Pregnancy outcomes of patients with PIH were correlated to Doppler velocimetry. Results : Doppler blood flow waveform analysis was done in all. 30 cases had normal Doppler and 70 had abnormal Doppler.
