Objective : To study the complications associated with laparoscopic sterilization and compare them with complications in cases with : (1) Medical Termination of Pregnancy (less than 12 weeks) with Laparoscopic Sterilization, (2) Laparoscopic Sterilization during puerperium, (3) Laparoscopic Sterilization in previous caesarean and Laparotomy scar patients. Methods : A retrospective study of 780 cases of Laparoscopic Sterilization was carried out between July 2005 to June 2008. The complications, failure Rate, morbidity and mortality was studied and compared between the Control Group and the Study Group.
